It’s not just the worst show on the network, it might be the worst auto-related television program physically possible. You know the hyped-up artificial “drama” you hate on Fast ‘n Loud, Graveyard Carz, or going all the way back to American Hot Rod/Chopper that started it all? Well guess what, they finally reached the ultimate logical conclusion of that, distilled into 46 minutes of nothing but people with obvious anger issues yelling and screaming at each other over arbitrarily stupid car building/restoration decisions thankfully broken up with commercial breaks. Not even on Bar Rescue, which is just 46 minutes of John Taffer yelling and screaming and acting like the douchiest most friendless loser on the planet with commercial breaks has so much unbridled, unfocused and useless anger thrown out at all directions like a nuclear bomb with absolutely little to show for it from not only a narrative perspective but from just a reality DIY show perspective with a decent quality car to show for it.
I mean, the poor “build team” (oh yeah and of course the two angry guys in charge get to take all the credit for them) seems like they’re legitimately getting caught in the crossfire. At least David Kindig of Bitchin’ Rides seems legit cool.

Agreed, it’s terrible. I watched the first two episodes and gave up on it. Bitchin’ Cars sometimes comes across as too scripted but at least they own up to it on their “Beyond” shows and the artificial drama is mercifully minimal.

Yeah, and the guys on Bitchin’ Rides actually seem to do really good work. I mean, have you seen the main guy doing pinstriping and stuff? The guy is a legitimate artist.

I wish there were more shows like Restoration Garage and Bitchin Rides. There may be a bit of manufactured drama, but the quality of the work they do makes up for it.

Almost as bad as Fat n’ Furious.

Did you see his old show? Compare to that this is almost classy.

I love restoration garage. At shops like that the people have to have a passion for their career but those people go above and beyond and have a passion for what they are working on too. Unlike the owner of FantomWorks on that one show, I don't believe a restoration shop should utter the words unsaveable. That just means it is beyond their abilities.
